Move files, account configurations, and programs to another drive, machine, or system via a network or by creating an image file. Make a restore point before performing the transfer process to have an option to return to the previous state in case anything goes wrong.
EaseUS Todo PCTrans can help you transfer applications and data between two computers either through a network or via an image file. Moreover, it can transfer applications to another drive on the same machine. The utility has a nice and very easy-to-use interface and there’s a wizard to guide you through all the steps.
In all scenarios, the application can identify transferrable data and applications automatically, so all you need to do is select the ones you need to transfer. Likewise, when importing from a source image, you can pick only those data you need. Also, the program can let you create a restore point before starting the transfer so that you can easily return to the previous state in case something goes wrong.
Some other things to notice are that to transfer data to another machine, the program must be running on both PCs and you also need to set a target computer’s IP address or name. However, I would have liked the application to allow me to select the target PC from a list of previously identified machines. You should also bear in mind that the tool uses a specific image file format.
In general, EaseUS Todo PCTrans is a very useful application. In fact, I haven´t come across with many tools with these same features. Unfortunately, I couldn’t try the whole process because to start actual transfers, I needed an activation code. It would have been nice if the trial version allowed you to perform the complete process at least once.
